About me

[ʀybɛn fɑn də vɛivɘɹ]

I am a professor of phonetics and phonology at the Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany.

My research focuses on the question: What do we know about the sound structures in our language? My research interests, therefore, involve phonetics and phonology, the acquisition of sounds, morphophonology and morphology. I am furthermore interested in the interface between phonetics and phonology as well as the interface between morphology and phonology.
